My name is Jill Kirby. I grew up in the Austin, Texas, area and moved to Houston in 2018 to be closer to my family.
I now have over 8 years of experience in the veterinary field. I began my journey working in reception and the kennel, eventually becoming a Level 3 Certified Veterinary Assistant. My passion for canine behavior and training has always been a driving force in my career. Recently, I’ve taken a step back from the hands-on demands of veterinary tech work to focus on the industry side of the field, eager to learn and contribute to the behind-the-scenes operations. My ultimate goal is to make veterinary care accessible to everyone, ensuring that pets and their families receive the best possible support and services. Outside of work, I share my life with three beloved animalsāa dog and a cat that my husband, an animal control officer, found on the job, and a cat I brought home while working at the emergency clinic.
