Emily Montoya, also known as Minnie, joined the Houston Veterinary Walk-in & Urgent Care team as a Technician in late November. She entered the veterinary field in 2021 to pursue her CVA, and after achieving that goal, she steadily advanced in her career with the help of the senior technicians who mentored her along the way. Minnie has a special passion for working with brachycephalic breeds and enjoys educating pet owners about their pets’ health and unique needs.
Outside of work, Minnie loves watching anime, playing Pokémon, and photographing pet portraits. She is also developing her hobby in mixology and takes joy in creating intricate and unique drinks. At home, she adores her two French Bulldogs, Coffee and Lola, who inspire her to do her best every day. Minnie looks forward to growing with the Galaxy Vets team and continuing to expand her knowledge in veterinary medicine.
